About the Artist and the Art

Sarah has been creating her whole life and is largely influenced by impressionists, Aviva Gold’s book Painting from the Source, the Jungian concept of collective unconscious, numerous prophetic artists, and formal training in drawing and Art Therapy.

Due to life and time restrictions, creating space to create can be challenging. Sunday Squares is Sarah’s practice of ensuring creative consistency. The small 3×3 size is easy to travel with and finish within time constraints. It also allows room to play and experiment. These are usually worked on during church services (it helps for focus). Occasionally Sarah experiences Holy Spirit epiphanies while creating an image. Mostly it’s a way of maintaining consistency in the creative process. These are just a few examples from this practice.

Drawing has been Sarah’s main artistic expression for most of her life and the one she has the most training in.
